Ben Du Feu is a specialist in planning and public law, practising at Cornerstone Barristers. He acts for and advises a broad range of public authorities and private clients.
 
He is regularly instructed in his own capacity in planning inquiries and High Court matters, and is often requested to act as junior counsel to senior members of chambers in cases of national significance.
 
In 2024, Planning Magazine named Ben one of the top-rated junior barristers in its annual Planning Law Survey and he is ranked as a leading junior in planning law by both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 legal directories.
 
Recent instructions include appearing at public inquires in relation to two proposals for 40+MW solar farms.
 
Ben graduated from University College, Durham, with a 1st class honours degree in Law and has a LLM in Environmental Law and Policy from University College London. He was called to the Bar in 2013 as a Lord Diplock scholar at Middle Temple.
