Sophie Lethier is Senior Policy Manager at Energy UK and leads the association's work on low-carbon and renewable generation. Before taking on this role, Sophie led Energy UK’s policy work on security of supply and system operability. Her background is in climate and environmental advocacy. After starting out in finance, Sophie worked as a Researcher to a Shadow Environment Minister. She went on to manage SERA – Labour’s Environment Campaign and lead climate NGO UK100’s campaigns in Westminster, where she set up and managed the All-Party Group on Sustainable Finance. Sophie holds an LLB (Law & Political Science) from Trinity College, Dublin.
