Colin has provided planning, strategy and delivery advice for energy and infrastructure sector projects for 20 years, and has specialised in Development Consent Order (DCO) projects since 2010 including three energy DCOs made.

He is responsible for leading teams and collaborates with environmental, land and legal advisors to achieve consent robustness, exceed project requirements, address policy requirements and good practice, meet investment timescales, and secure viable consents.

Currently he is leading two solar DCO applications and overseeing numerous solar and BESS planning applications for clients including Low Carbon, SSE Renewables, Statkraft, Fidra, Alcemi, and EP UK Investments.
