Rob Peters is Chief Commercial Officer of British Solar Renewables (BSR), where he leads commercial strategy, corporate finance enablement, and international expansion across the Group. Appointed CCO in 2020, he has played a pivotal role in transforming BSR from a developer–EPC model into a long-term independent power producer (IPP), driving growth under private equity ownership.

With more than 20 years’ experience in energy and infrastructure, he combines technical and commercial expertise with strategic leadership. At BSR, he has spearheaded the company’s entry into the Australian market, supported the Group’s acquisition by ICG Infrastructure in 2022, and structured the business to secure more than £500m in corporate finance, enabling large-scale project build-out and long-term value creation.

Rob’s leadership has ensured BSR remains strategically aligned with UK policy, including Clean Power 2030 targets and the evolving NESO gate process, while expanding its international pipeline. Earlier in his career, Rob delivered renewable, solar, and biogas projects across the UK and internationally, progressing from technical project management roles into senior executive leadership.

As CCO, Rob continues to drive BSR’s commercial growth and investor confidence, positioning the Group as a leading force in the global energy transition.
