Jonathan is Head of Railway Strategy and Policy at Rail Delivery Group where amongst other policy areas he leads the Station Strategy Group (SSG).  He has over 30 years’ experience in the GB rail industry having previously worked for both a train operator and for Network Rail.  During his career he has been a front-line Station Manager in London and then Cambridge, led the sales and marketing for Stansted Express, negotiated several track access contracts and developed the Industry Strategic Business Plan.  He speaks regularly at national and international conferences.  Jonathan is passionate about placing customers and communities at the heart of our business and enabling greater modal shift by harnessing the cleaner and greener credentials of rail.
