Benji oversees all DfT & Network Rail-funded Infrastructure projects for Govia Thameslink Railway, the UK's largest Train Operating Company. He directs the GTR programme of work for industry schemes, working with funders, Train and Freight Operating Companies and stakeholders to deliver them.

Benji has led schemes including East Coast Upgrade Programme, Cambridge South Infrastructure Enhancement, Victoria Re-signalling and BML Upgrade Programme. Away from infrastructure projects, he also leads GTR's work to achieve and maintain certification to ISO55001:2014 standard on Asset Management.

His teams have twice won industry awards, including Major Project of the Year for King's Cross Remodelling, and Team of the Year for the BML Upgrade Programme.

His previous experience in rail spans many areas. He has an eye for customer experience, having started out in the industry as Station Manager for London Victoria. He has also held roles within Performance, Thameslink Programme and Business Change. He has since managed GTR's Infrastructure Projects for 5 years, developing his main passion for delivering improved outcomes for customers and the wider industry.
