Andrew has 30 years-experience in the residential mixed use and regeneration development sector, having worked across land, planning and delivery roles for both private and public development bodies.

Background

As a Development Director within Solum, part of Kier Propertys joint venture with Network Rail, Andrews focus is on the release of development value, housing and regeneration benefits from Network Rails property portfolio. The role includes building teams, working with local stakeholders and overseeing development activities on a number of projects primarily focused around London and the South East.

Andrew has experience throughout the development process, including scheme conception and feasibility,  land acquisition, place making, meanwhile and interim use strategies, negotiating planning permission, social value, product and brand evolution, funding, project management and delivery.

Major Projects

  • Led the development of a 2,000 home masterplan and delivery of first phases of a new community in East London, providing a new neighbourhood centre, homes, employment and leisure spaces and £25m worth of highways, bridges and infrastructure.
  • Secured detailed planning consent, and led the delivery of 6 separate schemes delivering over 2,200 mixed tenure homes, commercial spaces and infrastructure in a new  riverside community in London
  • Presently leading Solums proposals for Redhill station, seeking to deliver new station entrance facilities, commercial space and 280 homes
