Verinder Supria

Head of Passenger Strategy - Anglia
Network Rail

Verinder has worked for some of the biggest companies in the transport sector in key defining Customer Experience roles, including British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, The Go-Ahead Group and Network Rail since September 2020. Throughout her career she has focussed on embedding a customer focussed culture to ensure the customer is always at the forefront during business decision making.

Having been involved in and delivered some of the most innovative projects in the airline industry from BA's Terminal 5, to it's Club World business class, Virgin Atlantic's Terminal 3 Upper Class experience as well as numerous lounges worldwide and seats for new aircraft deliveries, she brings a wealth of experience in understanding and delivering to passengers' needs through product and service design.

You may ask why Network Rail would hire someone with such a skillset, given that train operators deliver the customer experience and Network Rail, the railway infrastructure. Things have changed at Network Rail, with an an all-consuming mission to Put Passengers First. Infrastructure and operations are not delivered for the sake of it, and never have been. In the end, it's about giving passengers the best possible experience.

Verinder is focused on driving improvements by working closely with train operating partners on the Anglia route, Greater Anglia, c2c, MTR-EL and ARL, as well as delivering change and improvements at two of the busiest stations in London, Liverpool Street and Stratford stations.
