Dave has over 30 years’ experience in the area of project development, which has been broadly split about 50:50 between the public and private sector – the latter as a transport consultant. He is experienced in the field of project feasibility, appraisal and delivery – with a significant focus on public transport schemes. In his current role, he leads a team of 70 staff overseeing the delivery of a portfolio of around 250 projects with a total value of over £1.5bn, and his currently responsibilities include overseeing the development and delivery of three new rail stations in Leeds, one of which is currently in delivery. In recent years, he played a key role in the delivery of three new rail stations in West Yorkshire as well as the Leeds Station Southern Entrance scheme.
