Sarah Jane Crawford is the Principal Programme Sponsor for Anglia Route within Network Rail. This includes a portfolio of 106 projects totalling £2.6bn including projects such as the Cambridge South new station, Cambridge Re-signalling, Stratford and Liverpool station improvement projects and major third party schemes such as MSG Sphere, Soham new station and roll out of the Greater Anglia New Trains programme.

Sarah Jane is responsible for securing investment via both Department for Transport and via third party investors and accountable for the projects through design, delivery and entry into service. Through undertaking SPEED initiatives, all projects within the portfolio have undergone review to ensure we are driving an innovative and challenging approach to deliver the most efficient programmes and value for money. This will be applied to all future projects to ensure they are set up ‘right from start.’
