Gary is the Essex County Council lead on major Transport infrastructure programmes with a responsibility for working with funders from the public and private sector on major schemes. Gary has a direct project management role on the new Beaulieu Park Station being built on the Great Eastern Mainline to the North east of Chelmsford. Gary works with Homes England, the Local Economic Partnership and the local District Council to ensure delivery and contractual compliance. He has over 20 years’ experience in delivering major infrastructure and has worked in various public sector roles. During his career he has led an ambitious programme of regeneration for the Victoria and Albert museum and been a project manager for various programmes of work from the Building Schools for the Future Programme and the Southend Regeneration Programme. Gary is passionate about the value of high quality infrastructure and promoting an infrastructure first approach when considered alongside the need for Housing.
