Matt is Head of Property at East Midlands Railway (EMR), and is responsible for the maintenance and development of 102 stations across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire – stretching from Skegness to Sheffield, and Matlock to Market Harborough. He has spent his career in transport, having started as a Graduate Trainee fresh from university at Abellio (now Transport UK) and worked at train operators across the UK in various HQ and frontline positions, with a focus on operations, commercial and customer service functions. He also heads up EMR’s Sustainability agenda, Getting there Greener, and is a passionate advocate for rail’s environmental credentials and improving transport integration.
