Cornelia is a project lawyer with a commercial property background with a specialism in railway matters. She leads the station & depot team at Addleshaw Goddard LLP and is widely known as a leading expert in this field with over 16 years' experience (including a rail secondment). Her understanding of the industry enables her to give commercially focused advice with strong legal foundations. 

Cornelia has a passion for station projects – whether new stations or redevelopments – her experience covers everything from feasibility and structure reviews, framework agreements, property strategy, regulatory requirements (including station change), operational and security issues, asset protection, implementation and station lease documentation as well as interaction with operator agreements with the DfT. 

More broadly in the rail sector, Cornelia has experience with advising on railway line extensions as well as new depots and major depot enhancement projects including pioneering structures to facilitate private finance investment, dealing with connection agreements and preparing bespoke leases, access conditions and letting conditions.
