Mark has been a Regional Growth Manager for the West Coast Partnership for the last 4 years, which consist of Avanti West Coast the operator of intercity services on the west coast mainline and West Coast Partnership Development.

His role includes working with local, regional and national stakeholders in supporting development at and around Avanti West Coast managed stations on the West Coast Mainline, ensuring that the development in the station and outside are collaborative ensuring both can be delivered sustainably. He has worked in Transport Planning and regeneration for 20+ years working in both the public and private sector including 8 years at consultants Mott MacDonald and in local authority working on development control, urban masterplans and national transport schemes but focusing on local transport schemes with partner organisations from initial scope, funding, business case to delivery.  He has degrees in Transport and Transport Engineering and Planning and is a Chartered Transport Planner (CTTP) with the Transport Planning Society.
