Peter Livey FCILT is currently Managing Director (Great Britain) at “HMM (Europe) Ltd.”, and a ‘Global Sustainability Ambassador’ for HMM.

With more than 30 years’ experience in global to local logistics solutions, he has a deep knowledge of liner shipping, international logistics, global supply chains, and enjoys both developing new business, and implementing profitable and sustainable business practices.

In addition to his activities as MD of HMM in Great Britain, Peter is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, has a keen interest in the environment, and has been involved in public speaking on logistics, maritime, and environmental issues in Asia, Europe and North America.

Since the early noughties he has represented HMM within Clean Cargo, a global initiative which enables B2B collaboration with leading international retailers, manufacturers, ocean carriers, and logistics service providers dedicated to integrating environmentally and socially responsible business principles into the maritime supply chain. On the environmental front, Peter also represents HMM in the ‘Getting to Zero Coalition’ and several similar initiatives.

When not working for HMM, he keeps himself occupied as chair / director of a couple of charitable organisations. Peter is also an ordained priest, serving as a ‘Self Supporting Minister’ at Christ Church in Felixstowe (UK).
