Phil Hall is the Port Director for the Mersey Division of Peel Ports Group, based at the Port of Liverpool. Phil has full responsibility for all operations at the Port of Liverpool (excluding containers), Birkenhead, Heysham and the Manchester Ship Canal. The Mersey division directly employs c300 people with a further c200 from third party labour providers. Phil has worked at Peel Ports for 22 years, joining after graduating from Liverpool John Moores University. Since joining the Port Phil is now a qualified accountant (CIMA) and has also completed an MBA at Lancaster University.

Peel Ports have invested in excess of £750m over the past 10 years in infrastructure within the Port of Liverpool creating new jobs and business opportunities in the area, and have future plans to continue their investment further over the coming years.
