Welsh Government will pay to enable our partners in Uganda to plant a tree for every person who registers!

Over the last 20 years, Wales has been taking action on sustainability both at home and through our global actions. Working with our partners from around the world we can help drive change in Wales and the world.

Join us, and find out more about COP26 and our role as a globally responsible nation, hear how we’re helping to plant 25 million trees in Uganda and our plans for a National Forest in Wales.

We will have contributions from Mark Drakeford, First Minister of Wales, Leah Namugerwa, youth activist from Uganda, Lord Deben, Chair of the UK Climate Change Committee with music and dancing from the Sunnu Women’s Group from Mbale, Uganda. There will be an update from Loïg Chesnais-Girard, President of the Regional Council of Brittany, on their international work on climate change and their partnership with Wales.  This virtual event will be hosted by TV presenter, Iolo Williams, Wales’ own award-winning naturalist, writer and conservationist.
