Leah Namugerwa is a climate and environment activist. She is the Founder of Birthday Trees Project, and Team Leader of Fridays For Future Uganda. She started a petition to ban plastic bags in Uganda. She planted 200 trees on her 15th birthday and she has since planted 7500 trees. She distributed food parcels to 2000 children during the Covid-19 lockdown in Uganda. She started a campaign to fight Child hunger in Africa.
