Nicola Pulman has a background in countryside management for conservation and working with local people.  In 1998 she volunteered for Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) in Ghana coordinating a conservation non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to conserving endangered areas of community forest called Sacred Groves.  In Nigeria, Nicola worked with forest communities to help sustain rainforest and primates and worked on sustainable livelihood and community development projects.  In UK, Nicola has worked in the charitable sector and for a Higher Education Institution, Cardiff University, where she managed an international partnership.
