Gwydion has worked with Y Dref Werdd for almost 15 years and 5 years as project manager. Climate change and environmental matters are very important to him and that is evident in the various projects Y Dref Werdd do today.

Gwydion’s responsibilty is to manage the project from day to day, which includes managing staff, develop the company and projects, all financial matters and promoting the project regularly. Gwydion’s favourite part of the job is the environmental work, that includes safeguarding Bro Ffestiniog’s habitats, developing community spaces, tree planting and generally getting his hands dirty!!

Originally from Croesor, Gwydion has lived in the Bro Ffestiniog area, before settling with his family in the Llecheiddior area near Garndolbenmaen.

When there is some spare time, Gwydion loves to run over the mountains of Eryri, fishing the sea around the Llŷn Peninsula and spending time with his children, Caleb, Elenid and Beca.
