Heather McClure is a food activist and director of Aber Food Surplus. She is passionate about the role of food in connecting us to nature, ourselves and each other. She hopes to see Aberystwyth growing more food and become a wonderful example of a zero-food waste town in the near future. 

Heather graduated with an BSc in Geography, and an MA in Regional and Environmental Policy while volunteering to set up the Aber Food Surplus project that she now delivers with a team of 3 staff and over 35 volunteers
