From Cardiff, Tim is responsible for managing Energy Systems Catapult’s crucial relationship with all Government and Regulatory bodies at national, devolved and local level. 

Prior to this role he was ESC’s Head of Stakeholder Management.  He transferred from the Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) to help create the core team of the ESC in November 2015. He played a key role in the development of the Smart Systems and Heat programme, establishing relationships with local authorities, universities; governments and SMEs across the UK.  

Previously he managed energy programmes in Cornwall where he developed his specialism of bringing the public and private sectors together to deliver an essential low carbon energy agenda at local, national and international level. Before entering the world of energy sustainability Tim worked in arts management, education and as a professional opera singer, primarily with the WNO.
