Robert Matthews is a Science Group Leader working in the Centre for Sustainable Forestry and Climate Change at Forest Research in the UK. He and his team undertake research on forest resource assessment methods, forest growth modelling and forecasting, and on forest carbon management. Robert has been active in the work of the IPCC and currently serves as a Lead Author for the IPCC Working Group III contribution to 6^th Assessment Report.
