Dr Jennifer Rudd

Programme Manager
Circular Economy Innovation Communities

Dr Jennifer Rudd is a programme manager of the Circular Economy Innovation Communities (CEIC) programme.  Dr Rudd’s background is in climate change mitigation. She completed her PhD in chemistry at the University of Basel in Switzerland before being awarded a fellowship to work at the University of North Carolina, USA. Following this, Dr Rudd moved to Swansea University to work on the WEFO-funded Reducing Industrial Carbon Emissions project. The project uses circular economy principles and aims to capture carbon dioxide from industrial sources and then store it or convert it to commercial products.

Dr Rudd is an accomplished science communicator and educator, leading the You and CO2 climate change education programme.  Dr Rudd moved to the School of Management in September 2020.  She is looking forward to supporting leaders and managers in public services to reduce the carbon footprint of their organisations by co-creating new service solutions that have an impact across the region.
