Glyn became President of the Farmers’ Union of Wales in 2015. As President, he has helped to secure fair farm funding for farmers in Wales; has focussed on the importance of agriculture in rural communities and on the Welsh language; and has promoted why farming matters on a national scale.

Glyn is not a farmer’s son and initially worked as a shepherd at before he secured the tenancy of Dylasau Uchaf during 1983.  This is a 350 acre farm owned by the National Trust.
