A popular gardening journalist, editor, trainer and vibrant, accessible speaker, Kim has been writing for publications such as the Guardian since 2013. She has gardening columns in magazines including Grow Your Own and Country Smallholding magazines and edits The Organic Way for Garden Organic.

Kim is the author of The Climate Change Garden book and runs climate change and polytunnel growing courses from her training gardens and smallholding near to Synod Inn in Ceredigion and has run therapeutic gardening projects for local youngsters with learning disabilities.

Kim conducts workshops and talks around the UK including The Museum of London, Kirsty Allsopp’s Handmade Festival and the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. She is keen to bring alive the love of wildlife friendly, organic grow your own. Also to help gardeners (new and seasoned) to prepare for the extreme weather we are already starting to experience via climate change.
