Tim Ash Vie joined The Climate Group in September 2017 as Director of the Under2 Coalition Secretariat. The Under2 Coalition is a leading, international network of subnational governments that have committed to ambitious climate action, for which The Climate Group acts as Secretariat. 

Tim joined The Climate Group from the Adam Smith International where he was Head of Climate Change. Prior to that, he was a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he developed and established the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN), and served as its first Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this, Tim was a UK civil servant in the Departments for the Environment, the Treasury and the Ministry of Defence.
