Tina Völker is head of unit at Ministry for Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy of the State North Rhine-Westphalia (MWIDE) working on climate policy, climate protection in municipalities and international climate action. Before that, she worked on climate policy and renewable energy as a policy officer at MWIDE and Ministry for the Environment of the State North Rhine-Westphalia. 

Prior to this she worked for the Renewables Academy in Berlin where she was responsible for capacity building projects on renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies for participants from developing and emerging countries, German Energy Agency (dena) and German Solar Industry Association. 

Tina Völker holds a law degree from Westfälische-Wilhelms-University in Münster and completed her second legal state examination at Higher Regional Court Brandenburg.
