Jon Westlake has worked for Welsh Government since 2007, fulfilling a number of roles. He has largely worked within the environment and rural affairs portfolio, with a brief sojourn into sport policy. He is currently the Head of Policy for the Land Management Reform team, tasked with developing policies that will provide the foundation for a replacement to current CAP support for farmers and land managers. Prior to working for Welsh Government, Jon was employed by the Forestry Commission.

Jon has spent almost half of his life in Wales and plans to stay here for the rest of it!
