Danielle Lawrence

Head of Asset Intelligence
Northumbrian Water

Danielle Lawrence joined Northumbrian Water in 2008 and has built a diverse career across customer service, planning, streetworks, digital transformation, and asset management. She currently serves as Head of Asset Intelligence, where she leads the organisation’s approach to intelligent asset management—valuing asset data and analytics to drive operational resilience and strategic decision-making.

Danielle’s current focus includes improving how asset data is received, collected, and structured. She is leading the development of digital filing cabinets to house unstructured data, integrating 3D scanning and linking asset imagery to data records. Her work in Asset Health ensures that every asset has a condition and criticality score, and she is now advancing into asset risk—developing a common currency to support predictive maintenance across the asset base.

With a strong commitment to continuous improvement, Danielle also contributes to asset management maturity and deterioration modelling, helping shape the future of infrastructure intelligence at Northumbrian Water.
