Yessenia has a MEng qualified Civil Engineer with 6 years of experience in the clean water industry in the UK, specialising in Asset Management and Water network analysis at Affinity Water. Beginning as a Hydraulic Modeller, Yessenia navigated diverse workstreams, gaining an in-depth understanding of water networks and leveraging data analysis to inform optimal investments to meet our performance commitments. Leading the Asset Condition team, she has directed initiatives that maximised the utilisation of 30 years' worth of main condition data. By introducing improvements, she has significantly reduced analysis time, enhancing Asset Health Awareness, and providing actionable insights. Currently, she is leading the development of the Network Strategy for the next 25 years, translating long-term ambitions into strategic and optimised investments, while addressing uncertainties in a dynamic environment.
